Back to the roots. Animals in their natural habitat
Mushkino is one of the ten largest deer farms in Russia and specializes in semi-free breeding. The farm is located within the territory of Mushkino Safari Park, with a total area of more than 4000 hectares. It is situated in the picturesque Bagrationovsky district of the Kaliningrad region, about halfway from the capital of the region to the Russian-Polish border. This place is an ecologically clean area.
Today, the total number of livestock counts aproximately 2500 individuals, annually the number increases by 300-350 animals, and the birth rate reaches 88%. The European breeding system helps us to achieve this high parameter. The farm regularly sales live deer, antlers and raw meat to the Russian and international markets.
The deer farm is a full-cycle enterprise, its infrastructure includes two fattening complexes, pastures with an area of more than 2000 hectares, premises for animal sanitation. A high quality of deer population is being provided by the balanced diet of natural nutrition, annual calibration and vaccination.
